Case Studies
From Surviving to Thriving
A busy litigation attorney at a mid-sized law firm with a high volume practice was constantly overbooked. With coaching, he learned how to better manage his calendar and team of two paralegals. His case volume continued to increase on pace with new found efficiencies and a third paralegal was added to his team. He also found time for daily lunch breaks, time off and dedicated more evenings and weekends to spend with his family. Reflecting on his progress three months after coaching he said, “Things are going very well. Our team has moved from surviving to thriving.”
Email Mischief Managed
A small litigation law firm owner worried about, and avoided, 2000+ e-mails that needed to be turned into time entries and billed to clients. She was short on cash as a result. Within three months of starting coaching, she caught up, billed and began collecting over $80,000 in fees! She still gets behind sometimes but she knows what to do to regain control and get back on track.
Finding a New Focus
A solo practitioner sought coaching when his niche litigation cases dwindled. With coaching, he improved his self-care habits and hired administrative help to free up time and energy for creative big picture thinking. He landed on the idea to pursue more fiduciary litigation cases to feed his inner litigator and complement his existing estate planning practice. Coaching helped him develop a plan to support this new focus and seek out new opportunities.
